These 3 Zodiac Signs Will Have a Challenging Leo Season 2020

After a series of back-to-back eclipses and retrogrades, the Sun finally enters its home sign, Leo, on July 22 at 4:37 a.m. ET. Proud, charismatic, and cheerful, it’s no wonder this fire sign celebrates its birthday in the summer.

Unfortunately, the Sun will not save all the signs during this time, as the Leo season, 2020 will be the worst for those with placements in Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn. However, that does not mean that these signs cannot use this fixed energy to their advantage.

Before entering this vibrant astrological season, it is important to reflect on the archetype and governing “planet” of Leo, the Sun. The center of the solar system and the greatest source of energy, the Sun is the symbol of the ever-shining light within you, which is why the essence of Leo revolves around being true to your authentic self.

Everyone has Leo somewhere in their birth chart, and that’s where you usually shine the most. (It wouldn’t hurt to double-check which astrological house belongs to Leo in your chart, especially if you weren’t born with personal planets in this fixed fire sign.)

The Sun is also a representation of the ego and the greater purpose of your soul. Warm, sunny, and enthusiastic, the Leo season provides the opportunity to tap into your inner child and cultivate more joy in your life. And while the 12 astrological seasons affect everyone in a different way, the Leo season, no matter if it’s going to be the best or the worst season for you, wants to help you prioritize your happiness:

Taurus:

You are more anxious and restless than usual. Hang in there, Taurus. With the Sun activating your domestic fourth house of home, family, inner foundation, and emotional experiences, you might feel the need to retreat to your personal sanctuary this season.

The tricky part about this is that Leo is another fixed sign, which means he’s just as stubborn and willful as you are. This automatically creates tension when it comes to expressing your personality and with rebellious Uranus traveling through your sign, the pressure of the “square” aspect could trigger anxiety, restlessness, and sudden feelings of anger.

While this is easier said than done, you have the ability to transform this energy. So instead of submitting to your anxiety levels, use it as inspiration to redecorate and/or revamp your living space.

Virgo:

You are lying low before your birthday. Your governing planet, Mercury, is finally direct, Virgo. But with the Sun highlighting your mystifying 12th house of closure, dreams, karma, and secrets, you might be feeling more secluded and introverted than usual this season.

The Sun will eventually form a square aspect with Uranus via your vast ninth house of education, opportunity, and personal philosophy and this could potentially trigger tensions, especially if you have sacrificed yourself too much for visions and/or goals that don’t correspond to your the greater good anymore.

The eclipse season is over, but the effects of the Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn on July 5 could last up to about six months, and you probably need to work on a few other things.

Capricorn:

You reflect on your personal transformations. It’s been a long journey for you, Capricorn. Everything from eclipses in your sign to the hovering energies of Jupiter-Saturn-Pluto hasn’t been easy to take, but you stand firm and stronger than ever.

The Sun in Leo will ignite your auspicious eighth house with death, power, sex, joint ventures, and shared resources, which will inform your evolution thus far. And while it’s always a pleasure to reflect on your accomplishments, there is something about your identity that will come to your awareness this season.

The Sun will also be in a difficult square to Uranus via your expressive fifth house of fame, gratitude, and passion projects, so beware of unusual ego trips and feelings of jealousy.
