There has been an interesting shift in the world that makes everyone feel the same. It is almost as if a great force of nature has lifted a guise that has blinded all mankind for centuries until now. People are born into this world to believe that they are only meant to serve those above them in places higher than their own.
This is no longer the case in the world, although we still have a major role to play, it is time for us to recognize our full potential and claim what is rightfully ours as spiritual human beings. Do you think you are experiencing growth of spirit and consciousness? It can be difficult to diagnose something so subtle and personal.
There are key indicators for becoming a better person. You don’t have to experience a particular number of these things, even just one can indicate that you are heading towards where you could be.
1. You’ve been having extreme dreams lately:
If you have started having some crazy, vivid dreams that you don’t quite understand but feel a sense of peace from them, it could be a great indication that you are experiencing a spiritual awakening.
These dreams might be signs that you are finding a deep glimpse into the world around you, seeming complicated but meaningful at the same time. Explore the meaning of these vivid dreams; allow yourself to awaken to things you did not know before.
2. You had a new spark for living:
If you suddenly felt a new fire ignite within you just for a new way of living, it means that you are ready for a spiritual awakening. Once you have claimed your passion for life and feel the need to do everything in your power to help, not only for yourself but for the rest of the world, then you are on your way toward great things.
Open yourself up to the possibilities of the world, realize that you don’t have to limit yourself to just one thing, and explore the world for all that it holds that can teach you how to be a better person.
3. You aren’t afraid anymore:
Fear is one of the most crippling feelings we can have in ourselves. If you have started to feel like all of your fears are gone, then you are on the right path to spiritual awakening.
The world is filled with adversity, but that doesn’t mean you have to despair so easily. Facing your fears will teach you a lot about yourself and a lot more about others around you. Take on this new perspective, never live in fear, and show the world how brave you really are.
4. You’ve freed yourself from toxic ties:
Once you feel this change in yourself, you will begin to see people who are unworthy of your presence disassociate themselves from your path of spiritual enlightenment. It’s important that you know that it’s normal for these people to fall off your radar.
There will be new people who share the same views, beliefs, and joys in life as you. Even if you are afraid of losing some of these people, just remember that you need to keep moving forward and not dwell on the past. You respect yourself and your time enough to draw the line with acceptable behavior.
You are not ready to put up with the effects of toxic or unproductive people. They drag you down and undermine your qualities. It can be difficult to push these people away if you care about them, but if they aren’t willing to drink, no amount of effort will get them to. Congratulations on taking this bold step!
5. You have a sudden urge to meditate:
Once you have started to feel the major change in yourself, you may also begin to feel the urge to start meditating. Meditation is a very useful practice for contemplating one’s emotions, muffling all surrounding noise, looking inward, and reflecting on our personal lives as to how we can improve ourselves and the whole world.
It is important for us to meditate as often as possible so that we can achieve a balance within ourselves to be happy human beings.

6. You overflow with love:
There will be an extreme explosion of self-love and love for the world around you once you start to feel this spiritual awakening within yourself. You will begin to see the world in all its beauty, not only in people but in nature itself.
A great way to express or explore these new feelings of love is to go for a hike, hang out in nature with your friends, go to a natural body of water, or just make people smile. Love is a very powerful feeling that you can give to anyone!

7. You are improving your diet and sleep habits:
You take the time to rest and eat better. You notice your body’s needs and take them more seriously. It may not seem like eight consecutive hours of sleep every night.
You can sleep for a few hours at night and take a nap throughout the day. It doesn’t matter how you rest, only that you have enough and time it so that your rest doesn’t get in the way of your goals and homework.
Rest and activity are both fueled by food. You make sure you’re getting enough of it. Not only consuming the right amounts but eating healthy options is just as important. You strive to eat organic and non-processed food.
8. You witness synchronicities:
Synchronicity is a rather strange experience. It is the experience of significant and related events that are unlikely to be a mere coincidence.
These experiences tend to guide us down a path, but sometimes they just remind us that we are already on the right path.
9. You’ve awakened your inner powers:
As you develop your awareness and skills, you have started to “wilt” situations and options. You have started to tap into your innate and hidden powers. What you put into the world becomes part of your reality.
Be careful with this power. Negative energy is a lower form of energy and vibrates more slowly. This allows negative intentions to take shape faster and easier than positive ones. Just be careful with your intentions, as you might unwittingly set yourself back.
10. You really want to change some major aspects of your life:
Tired of dragging your feet on your way to work, you want better ways to influence the world. You know that you have more to offer than what is asked of you and that you want to offer more for yourself and those you care about.
Nothing but you is holding you back where you are except you. Look to find a new job, move to a better neighborhood, go back to school, or whatever other change you start to see as a necessity. Make sure, however, that you take your time to prepare for the shift. Be prepared to give it all you have.
11. You are creating your own spiritual beliefs:
Many self-defined spiritual people can talk to you for hours about other people’s spiritual beliefs, but when it comes to their own beliefs, there really aren’t any.
When you are experiencing a true spiritual awakening, of course, you might find comfort in older beliefs and systems. You might find yourself deep in meditation or yoga, but while you’re at it, you have your own ideas and beliefs.
12. You want more freedom:
During your spiritual awakening, one day you will wake up, look around, and suddenly feel chained by your home, your job, your possessions, and maybe even your relationship.
Don’t jump out of bed, throw it all away, buy a van, and follow your favorite band on tour right now. Instead, think about the things in your life that weigh you down and rob you of your freedom. Think about life without it and what you could do without it.

13. You are interested in self-improvement:
Where the bubbly stories of one person’s escape from slavery or the return of another to good health from calamity didn’t interest you, stories of self-development and triumph are suddenly important to you.
You are drawn to them because you are now trying to do it yourself.
14. You more aware:
As your awareness and honesty grow, you begin to unravel the conundrum of your feelings and intentions. We don’t always fully consider what we feel or desire out of fear. Failure to recognize our true selves and desires is more dangerous than any truth we fear.
As you get to know yourself better, you start to relate and empathize with others. As you go through your day, keep in mind that the feelings of others have the power to slow you down and negatively affect you. Slow down and deal honestly with what’s going on to make sure you have the energy to accomplish what you need.
15. You feel more deeply:
Of course, we all experience a wide range of emotions, but people in the midst of spiritual awakening will feel them more fully. Spiritual people are characterized as being happy, frolicking little angels, but spiritual people experience anger and depression and they feel these emotions more than most.
This does not mean that they do not also experience joy and satisfaction; they just feel the full range and to a greater degree.
16. You’ve lately begun to cherish your alone time:
This doesn’t mean that you don’t like people anymore, even though you are more likely to be disappointed in others, you value time alone more than ever.
Time alone doesn’t have to be filled with noise, tasks, or distractions. You are comfortable with the formations within you and take the time to explore and develop them.
17. You feel connected when you’re in nature:
A hike in the woods might have been a boring thing before that kept you from watching the game or playing video games. But during your spiritual awakening, everything else disappears from your mind when you are in nature.
You suddenly feel so much more connected to it and to the whole universe when you are in nature. It’s almost like you can feel the pulse of the planet. If you are experiencing a combination of these signs, there is a good chance that you are currently going through a spiritual awakening or transformation.
