5 Ways You Can Connect with Mother Nature

It has been written into our beings that spending time in nature is good. It is certainly very good and there is nothing wrong with that claim.

Nature can also serve as a place of solace that has the power to truly benefit your body and mind. But we are still so oblivious to the power of nature over us.


What are nature and humans according to shamans?

Shamans believe that humans are an integral part of nature. Instead of seeing our species as terrible invaders, shamans think we have just been disconnected from our roots.

All we need is to reconnect and heal ourselves and the planet.



Re-engaging with nature:

Humans once had a completely different set of beliefs. Nature was seen as a deep connection value to bring us all together. But over time, those beliefs morphed into something else.

It left us with a sense of guilt for holding desires. This has led to a feeling of loss of our place in this world, the loss of our connection to life, and also of our dignity. Reconnection can be made easier with certain guidelines. Just say these:

Our biological ancestors were considered our guardians until we reached an age where we could truly embrace nature, our caretakers. It took time and practice to embrace Heaven as a father figure and Earth as a mother figure. This change in view of nature as a nourishing force would allow us to be truly nourished.

Nourished by the maternal guidance that the Earth offers us. We can begin to cultivate this sense of belonging by perhaps singing a song on Mother Earth or meditating to really feel the energy around us. It is important to know that there is no one right method and we should try several before deciding what works best for us

You may inherently realize that spending time in various settings in nature inspires different mood in you. We can begin to harness each energy once we are able to trust and respect the energy around us. 1. Allow your curiosity to fully manifest itself:

What is it in nature that you feel a sense of amazement from? Your deepest desires and wishes are more serious than you realize.

Let your curiosity take you to a place where you truly feel like you belong. It will be a place that is definitely worth being.



2. Set a goal:

Setting a goal decides how much energy you will get from it. It can be the simplest thing, like just connecting with a leaf. Just get in the habit of setting a goal prior to your activities such as swimming.

This will instill a presence of mind which is important in developing a connection.



3. Hold still and be patient:

It’s essential to remember that it takes time to develop a connection. You’re unlikely to get the same satisfaction from a quick customer service call as you would from a long conversation with a friend.

Stop, take a moment, and let your surroundings make an intimate connection with you. Let nature take her time.



4. Let the energy move you:

After holding still and soaking in the energy around you, you will feel the urge to do something. It is your body that connects with the energy you wanted.

Allow that to move your being! You will experience this in many activities. Keep an open mind and you will be surprised.



5. Be thankful:

It is possible that the harnessing of this energy in your life is reflected in the abundance it creates for you. A serene way is to simply express your personal thanks by taking a minute and thanking nature.

It could also be whispering a thank you. Or even create a little gift for the planet. Giving back will ensure balance and stability.




This is all probably going to sound really daunting. But this is a very common misconception. There are so much playfulness and humor in the fabric of Life. Nature brings us all joy. Nature will simply be happy for the peace we receive from it.
