The law of attraction sounds like a pretty good deal, doesn’t it? You think of money, love, and happiness and your world is filled with money, love, and happiness!
Then why doesn’t it work?
Look around…statistically, the vast majority of people in the U.S. are not happy with the amount of money in their lives, their jobs, their health or their love lives. In fact, they aren’t happy period.
Yes, some of them don’t even know the law of attraction exists—yet others (like you) clearly do know it exists, yet still can’t make their dreams come true. Take a look at four reasons why the law of attraction doesn’t work (and how to make it work):
If you have been struggling with the Law of Attraction in your own life, you might want to review this short guide of common problems people face, and how to fix them:
1. You are desperate
In other words, you are very tied to the results. Urgency is resistance. Unfortunately, it is not possible to create from a place of need, because when you want something very much and you feel very bad for not having it, you are not in an authorization mode.
Resistance is what prevents the desired manifestations from reaching you. It responds to your vibration because you received free will when it came to that physical reality. You will always have the freedom to choose your vibration and the universe will always respond accordingly.
2. Too many ” but ”
“I’d like more money, but I’ve never had it before.” “I’d like a new job, but I’ve always worked here.” These types of “but” end up killing any chance of living that your desire has, so it’s a real blow to the feet! Instead, use the “but” in your favor by changing the position of perceived reality and desire.
For example: “I’ve never had much money, but I think I can do it.” “I’ve always worked here, but I’d like to try something new.” Did you notice the difference? Use “but” in your favor by softening the current reality with a new desired possibility.
3. Your beliefs do not support your vision
The law of attraction constantly shows the evidence of your thoughts. Beliefs are not different. Beliefs are just thoughts you’ve practiced over and over, making them even more powerful than regular thoughts.
The universe always says yes. So if you believe in a certain thing, the universe will continue to show it to you.
4. You must see it to believe it
“I will believe it when I see it”, you say. And, guess what? If so, you’ll never see it. If you want the law of attraction to work in your favor, you must first believe it and next to see it.
And this is probably the most common trap in which people enter, not to mention the most frustrating. The “happiness trap”.
For example: “When I have a new home, I will be happy.” “When I’ll get thinner, I will feel better.” You must first capture the emotion of what you want and then, as a result, what you want will come to you.
