What Is Your Strongest Spiritual Gift?

There are four gifts or spiritual senses, and we all have one that is stronger than the others …

Do you know how to feel when something is wrong even before you hear about it?

Are you able to detect when people around you feel upset or lie?

Do you have feelings or sensations that you should or should not do something?

It’s your intuition, and believe it or not, we’re all born with it. We are all born with a sixth sense that allows us to better understand the invisible world. All it takes is to exploit it and know how to use it.

Most of us are familiar with their physical senses: smell, taste, hearing, and touch. But we also have a set of spiritual senses: clairvoyance, clairaudience, clairsentience and claircognizance, which can help us navigate the way our intuition works.

Here is how each sense  or spiritual gift works:

1. Clairvoyance (Clear Seeing):

It is the ability to see happenings of life, auras, or have premonitions in a dream state or being awake.

It’s a strong ability to analyze body language to “see” through people, especially if they are lying. Clairvoyance allows you to have bright or prophetic dreams, to see orbs or spirits, and to “see” sometimes even things before you buy them. Clairvoyance is often visually creative and makes it easy to remember faces and details in your environment.

2. Clairaudience (Clear Hearing):

It’s the ability to hear voices and receive messages from the spirit world.

This ability allows you to hear what someone really thinks deep down. It is very useful for analyzing the thoughts of others. We start with buzzing in the ears and being strongly affected by the sounds around us. This ability often puts us in accord with our spiritual guides or our higher self. We are more comfortable with technology, and all that has a link with the auditory.

3. Clairsentience (Clear Feeling):

It is the ability to know exactly how someone feels and to be able to feel when he is in trouble or when something is wrong. It is to be subject to goosebumps or to feel tingling without physical reason.

This ability is often attributed to empaths, who are often able to hear and feel the emotions of others. With clairsentience, empaths have the ability to draw energy from a space or object, which can make them feel drained or have “headaches” when there are many people around them.

4. Claircognizance (Clear Knowing):

It is the gift of “knowledge” without physical or oral evidence.  Often, it gives a sense of certainty about a situation or person or allows us to have feelings of déjà-vu.

Clear knowledge allows us to receive sudden ideas of the past, present or future. Often, we often know what others will say before they tell us. Usually, clear knowledge puts us more in tune with our spiritual guides or our higher self and directs our minds to be more analytical and understand abstract problems.

Although we probably all have a combination of these spiritual gifts, there is often one that stands out more than the others in all of us.

Claircognizance and clairsentience are in fact the most common spiritual senses.

Here are some exercises to help you understand what your strongest gift is:

If you think you are Clairvoyant:

Close your eyes and start visualizing your body and how it looks in its current state. If you are lying down, what does your body look like? If you sit, what does it look like?

Pay attention to the details of the clothes you wear and the expression you have on your face. Try to imagine your body there in space. If you are able to do this clearly and easily by being precise about the details, chances are you have powerful clairvoyant abilities.

If you think you are Clairaudient:

Pay attention to the sounds around you. Start slowly to attenuate the physical sounds until you can hear the calm, then try to tune the sound of your breathing with the beating of your heart, and then with your inner calm.

It may take a few days to achieve this, but if you find it easy to tune into the sounds and rhythm of your body, then it is likely that you have strong clairaudience abilities.

If you think you are Clairsentient:

Take a picture of someone you do not know (an acquaintance or friend can do the trick) and try to tap into how you feel when you look at the picture. Do you trust this person? What personality traits do you think this person has? Have you noticed anything in the eyes of this person? Write down your answers and show them to him/her afterward.

You can also do this exercise with an object. Go to a used store and select an item. Holding it in your hands, see if you can get feelings about your former owner.

If any of these exercises are easy for you, there is a good chance that you will have clairsentient skills.

If you think you are Claircognizant:

Take a pen and paper, and ask your Superior for help by asking specific questions. Write down all the thoughts you receive and try to be broad-minded, giving free rein to your imagination.

Try to put enough details in writing, even if you lose the connection. Keep writing and, eventually, allow your claircognizance to take over you. If you find this exercise easy or if you receive a message, chances are you have strong claircognizant abilities.

Deciphering which spiritual sense is strongest in you can help you listen better and strengthen your intuition. Our senses are powerful, and when these spiritual gifts are nourished and used with our physical gifts, we can begin to look at the world in a whole new light.
