3. While preparing a meal:
When you are in familiar territory, your mind tends to operate on autopilot. Mix that up with a well-known task like preparing a meal that you have cooked a few times before, and you have stimulated active meditation for yourself without even realizing it.
Most people don’t realize the beauty of this meal prep time. It’s a rare blend of elements that make you present to the moment, put your mind on autopilot and give you a sense of satisfaction as you do something that will fill you with energy.
For your mind, that means ensuring your survival. This signals to your brain that all is well, that you have acquired some food and that you will soon be fueling your body. This moment is most often a powerful inducer of a flow state. It’s just you and the ingredients. You can play meditative music or just enjoy the stillness of the moment.
That way, you give yourself some downtime from mental, physical, and energetic clutter and align with the source energy. From there, we can easily connect to the higher intuitive guidance and receive its messages just by staying in this state. Well, at least as long as we prepare our meals.
