What do you think of your Inner Light? Do you feel that others do not really understand you? How strong and powerful do you really feel? How much potential can you share? How much pain have you endured? How big is your heart? How deep are your emotions? What can you really do? Many questions so let’s together look for the answers!
Did you know that you have light and darkness inside you? People don’t really know you because you haven’t shown them your inner chaos. You just let them see your perfect image, you don’t let them penetrate your darkness, your mistakes, pains, and defects. That is why most of us feel that we cannot connect with others. We want to show only an edited version of ourselves, not that of our true identity.
Our darkness is what really creates the deepest connections with others, that is, our defects, not our perfections. Making mistakes is not the end of oneself, but rather the beginning of the journey to find the hidden genius and flourish in your true potential.
Stop ruminating what you’ve done wrong. Lick your wounds when you have to and go ahead. Believe in your power and begin to become the person you are destined to be… and most importantly, do not deny your darkness, it is the other side of your totality.
You cannot be a real whole of yourself without your darkness and your light.
Here’s how you can use your darkness to awaken the light that you carry inside.

1. Accept uncertainty and let the fear be your compass.
Seneca has said that the entire universe resides in uncertainty, in duality. If so, why not dare to do things that not everyone dares to do? Do what your heart wants you to do because your life purpose is within you. Yes, you will be afraid and face unknown territories, but no one can run away from them.
Fear and uncertainty are there to stay. They will always be there no matter what you do, and no matter how large the walls you build around you are.
Look at us, we know that we live in more protected societies than ever and we are more afraid than ever. So instead of running away from fear and uncertainty, hug them, use them. You feel fear only in moments that are important, moments that have the potential to rise or break you.
So use fear as a compass that shows you the direction you can grow. When you are afraid, remind yourself that it is important to feel it, that it is decisive for you. Thank your fear for letting you know how far you should stretch your comfort zone.
2. Use your pain to create.
Transform your pain into immortal art, as Ernest Becker calls the “project of immortality.”
There are many ways in which you can capture your creation to transcend. You can write moving songs, create inspiring movies, paint pictures, sculpt, write emotional poetry or create a book that changes someone’s life. You can also support foundations or help the environment, get involved in the life of someone who needs it, etc.
The purpose is to transform your pain into something useful, something that can inspire others. Turn your darkness into a beautiful action from which the world can benefit.
Whatever you put your hands in, don’t be afraid if it’s good or bad, as long as it helps you in your healing transformation. The process can bring back the pain you once experienced, but in this heroic confrontation is where you really find the purpose and meaning of your life.

3. Face your shadows and make friends with your demons.
Both worlds, that of light and that of darkness, exist within you. Therefore, you will face from time to time with your shadows and obscurities.
While these things are commonly considered bad, they are part of your nature as well as your light. Not everyone knows how to face these inner shadows and these demons, and they tend to run away from them, thinking that it is the only way to get rid of them. These inner demons live on your wounds, and by avoiding them you hurt yourself again and again, in the same way.
The mere presence of darkness in you suggests that there is a part that needs healing and that there is a kind of blockage that prevents you from moving on. Sometimes, by avoiding these wounds, without thinking, you can even hurt other people around you who love you and want the best for you.
If you face your shadows and demons, when you stop being afraid of them, you will realize that they are actually messengers. They are there to show you what needs to be healed. They were never against you, your fear made you see these internal forces as monsters.
Once you reconcile and heal what needs to be healed, they will no longer have the power to persecute you again. And the only way to do it is to love yourself unconditionally. Your inner light will be reborn and shine!
Loving yourself, your whole being, your darkness, and your light unconditionally, is the only way to transform these shadows into your best allies.
