Use These 7 Ways to Attract Positive Karma into Your Life

The phrase “You reap what you sow” best describes what karma is. Usually, this is the energy that we send to the universe and comes back to us. Every action contains certain karma and we cannot always control what we do. Even when we suffer the consequences of our foolish actions, most of us fail to find the pattern between our actions and the situation.

It is always best to be aware of the intentions behind our actions to avoid negative consequences or bad karma. To have good karma, there are certain things we can do under our power.

These seven ways to attract good karma will not only make us improve ourselves but also help us in being mindful of others:

1. Focus on your life goals:

Focusing on your life goals is one way to attract good karma. When you are more focused on your life goals, distractions have less power over you. The more focused you are, the more likely you are to be successful.

But you also need to take a break every now and then. It lets you breathe and makes you more creative once you get back to what you’re currently working on.

There may be some setbacks along the way, but they’re more likely to push you to do things right. Failures lead to lessons that help you improve some aspect of your life.

2. Connect to the world within and outside of you:

When you connect with the world within and around you, you are more aware of what is happening in the present moment. Dwelling on the past or the future will rob you of your precious time.

While focusing on your goals leads you to future success, living in the present moment helps you realize your greatest potential. Being in the present and living your best life allows you to feel connected and attract good karma to come into your world.

3. Take responsibility for whatever you’ve done:

Taking responsibility for your commitments is a sign of maturity and could bring good karma to you. There are times when failures in your actions are inevitable. You are always evolving and making mistakes is part of it.

When you take responsibility for your mistakes, you are doing the right thing. Not everyone can do this. By claiming that your mistakes are yours, it will be easier for you to correct them and move away from them.

4. Learn to laugh at yourself:

Making mistakes is really humiliating. Still, humility is a great way to achieve good karma in your life. When you are able to laugh at yourself for some stupid mistakes, it is easier for you to take criticism from others.

As mentioned earlier, failures are your criteria for improving yourself. It tells you what improvements you need to make. If there are negative comments from others, you shouldn’t take them too seriously. Instead, learn to laugh at yourself and be prepared to take a joke every now and then. It makes your journey a bit easier.

5. Be patient and tolerant:

Being patient and tolerant with yourself and the world also helps you achieve good karma because not everything will turn out the way you want it to. There are some things that take a lot of patience, especially success.

You can’t always have what you want when you want it. As the saying goes, “All good things come to those who wait.” When you wait patiently, you already know what’s coming next.

6. Do small good deeds:

Mark Twain nailed it perfectly: “Kindness is the language the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” Practice small acts of kindness to others and to yourself. When you are kind to yourself, others feel it too. Loving yourself first is the first step to loving others.

Being kind to yourself makes you genuine to others. You can fool people with a fake smile, but you can’t fool yourself. Being kind to yourself means doing the things that can make you happy. The kinder you are to yourself, the more natural it becomes to treat others with kindness.

7. Be comfortable and open to change:

When we have perfectly designed the future according to how it fits in our plans, coping with changes is difficult. Change is not what we are used to. Change is uncharted territory that we hate to even take a look at because we are all afraid of the unknown.

Yet, it is only by stepping out of your comfort zone that you can feel comfortable with the change. Accepting change brings good karma to you as it opens your mind to your expansion and to a wide range of better possibilities.

Like a butterfly that has just come out of a cocoon, you can only spread your wings after going through many changes in your life. Try to incorporate these practices into your life and see how amazing good karma can be!
