5 Signs that You May be Out of Spiritual Alignment and What to Do

Sometimes we often feel like something is wrong deep inside us. It is normal to feel this as we sometimes move away from our spiritual alignment. We have to get back on track on our own.

These setbacks are often hidden opportunities to channel your virtues. However, sometimes they are too difficult to identify. These are the 5 signs to identify that you are out of spiritual alignment and some solutions to correct it.

1. You feel exhausted:

When you feel so tired that even your soul is exhausted, it is a sure sign that you are out of alignment or that you are not being authentic. This requires more life force and therefore your energy is drained.

What to ask yourself:

  • Where am I not genuine?
  • What kind of dreams have I been having lately?
  • Where can I accept my flaws and honor my words?

Treatment:

  • Meditation to unravel hidden messages.
  • Walking or exercising to stir up latent energy.
  • Activate your spine through exercises or meditation because it is the center of our being.
  • Use essential oils in a diffuser to refresh your mind.

2. You have breathing problems:

Problems like anxiety, stress, and anger can lead to several breathing problems that are directly related to our spirit.

What to ask yourself:

  • What issues give me anger, fear, or resentment?
  • Where do I need more attention?
  • What parts of the body hold the tension?

Treatment:

  • To resolve anger, learn to forgive with all your heart.
  • With a relaxed mind, breathe in into your belly for 4 seconds, hold your breath for 7 seconds, exhale for 8 seconds. Repeat this several times.
  • Nourish yourself with Epsom bath salts and essential oils that contain magnesium and other calming elements.

3. You struggle with concentrating:

We are so easily distracted and involved in several things at the same time, that we find ourselves without direction and lost.

What to ask yourself:

  • What am I most invested in?
  • What is my top priority today, this week, this month, and this year?
  • How can I create more time for myself?

Treatment:

  • Save your precious time.
  • Use a calendar or time management app to plan your activities.
  • After, for example, a 50 minute working time, take a 10-minute break and imagine how the next hour will play out. You can even try a morning meditation routine and visualize your most impactful day.
  • Rub a little peppermint oil on your temples to help focus.

4. You suffer from depression/sadness:

A feeling of total loss or fear usually leads to this. Fear of death, abandonment, or loss of a loved one or something as important.

What to ask yourself:

  • Where am I clinging to sadness?
  • What did I lose?
  • What shadow am I ignoring?

Treatment:

  • Practice thankfulness. Make a list of 5 things you are thankful for in order to feel lighter.
  • Send a genuine note to someone you don’t like and maybe experience something great.
  • Have some drops of grapefruit essential oil with a glass of water as it brings positivity.

5. You are irritable:

When we are out of alignment, our body also exhibits a chemical imbalance. Proper nutrition, hydration, and hormonal balance are important.

What to ask yourself:

  • How much caffeine, sugar, or alcohol do I consume?
  • How much should I sleep?
  • Do I have a healthy weight and diet?
  • Is my sex life satisfactory?

Treatment:

  • Eat more green vegetables.
  • Hydrate yourself more.
  • Consume less caffeine and alcohol.
  • Use essential oils like sandalwood, clary sage, and thyme to balance hormones.
  • Try meditation with your partner in yab-yum to calm your irregular energies.
